Advances in archaeomaterials, an open access journal sponsored by the Institute of history of science and technology and cultural heritage of Beijing University of science and technology, has been published online recently. This is the first English journal in the field of ancient materials research in China.
The journal is jointly produced, published and distributed by Beijing kesenlan Culture Communication Co., Ltd. based on the advanced publishing concept of Elsevier and Science Press and the sharing platform of ScienceDirect, it adopts the international peer review and fully open access mode.
The journal is edited by Professor Mei Jianjun, director of Needham Institute in Cambridge and visiting professor of Beijing University of science and technology; Professor Chen Kunlong of Beijing University of science and technology is deputy editor; Dr. Brett Kaufman of University of Illinois Urbana Champaign is executive editor; Dr. Liu siran and Dr. Ma Hongjiao of Beijing University of science and technology; Dr. Thomas Fenn and Dr. Ma Hongjiao of University of Oklahoma are executive editors Dr. Anke Hein, Oxford University, UK, is an assistant editor. In addition, the journal has invited well-known experts from China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Austria, Cyprus, India and other countries and regions to form an international editorial board team to ensure the academic quality and international vision of the journal.
